Description
Muffin’s Halo White Angel Wings ® is a 3 piece must-have device that helps blind dogs transition to become familiar with existing or new surroundings quickly. It starts as a harness that is wrapped snuggly around a dog’s neck and torso. The wing attaches to the neck of the harness. The halo is attached to the wing and when placed on neck of the harness, the halo is just above the eye level and acts as a buffer to safeguard a blind dog’s head, nose, face and shoulders from bumping into hard surfaces. When the halo taps a hard surface, it sends a signal to the dog alerting them to go in a different direction. They catch on very fast and it is truly amazing to watch their confidence level rise. Wearing the harness also makes them feel cuddled and less anxious. The Muffin’s Halo White Angel Wings makes them look angelic and is a Muffin’s Halo original design.
Material: Light weight and comfortable, made out of polyester/cotton twill and a stylish easy fit with adjustable velcro straps. Muffin’s Halo White Angel Wings does not hinder a dog’s normal daily activity. They can eat, drink, sleep and play with it on.
Care Instructions For Wing and Harness: Cold water machine/delicate or hand wash and lay flat to dry. No bleach. Halo can be cleaned with a baby wipe or damp cloth. The fabric on Muffin’s Halo White Angel Wings’ halo part is a durable water resistant nylon pack cloth.

Our 12-year old Shih Tzu went blind in a matter of weeks, so it was extremely difficult for her to adapt. When I found Muffin’s Halo online, I didn’t hesitate to order a halo for our little Zoey. The owner, Silvie, was extremely accommodating, even expediting the shipment for us at no extra cost as we needed the collar ASAP considering Zoey was constantly running into things. It has taken her a while to adjust, but the collar serves as advertised! Thank you, Silvie!

Put this on my 9 year old pug & noticed great improvement in his confidence & mobility within 15 minutes. Winston has had impaired vision in his (L) eye due to an ulcer when he was a puppy. Last year, his (R) eye had to be removed & over the last few months he had lost his confidence & was reluctant to move around on his own . Got his Halo yesterday & wore it today & within 15 minutes the transformation was amazing & he was back to his usual mobility & confidently strutting around like a puppy .I am so pleased with this result that I have ordered another for changing . Would not hesitate to recommend the Halo to anyone & will certainly do so .Very happy to endorse this great product/ thanks to everyone at Muffin,s Halo- Ann (& Winston)

Jane Doe has turned a new leaf since getting her Muffin’s halo. Over the past year, she has slowly lost her vision and she had turned from an adventurous pup into a very timid senior. Muffin’s halo has given Jane Doe the ability to freely get around the house and has revitalized her!

My 11 year old Schnoodle Guido went blind after being diagnosed with diabetes. I was so happy to search the web and find a product like this to help him adjust. Guido became so confident while wearing the Halo that even when we take it off, he is still confident. Thank you Muffins Halo for inventing a product to help our fur babies

When I saw Zsa Zsa photo on Facebook, I immediately fell in love! Zsa Zsa, 12 year old 3.5 lbs Maltese, had been rescued by Saving K9 Lives Plus from the shelter with matted hair around her eyes. The precious angel couldn’t see with the matting. After getting treated by the vet hospital and Eye Care for Animals, Zsa was on her way to healing. Zsa Zsa had one issue, she loves to roam and walk freely. With the help of Silvie and Muffin’s Halo for blind dogs, Zsa Zsa was able to roam at her pace. Zsa Zsa stayed with her foster home until she was able to come to my house in Iowa. A volunteer lovingly brought Zsa Zsa around Christmas from Los Angeles. I cherish every moment with Zsa Zsa. Muffin’s Halo for Blind Dogs helped her make the adjustment to my home. She explored and never got hurt as the halo prevented her from bumping into walls and furniture. Having a blind dog is a blessing. Muffin’s Halo for Blind Dogs takes out the worry and stress of letting her roam and be a regular dog. Zsa Zsa has a XX-Small Pink Halo. Happy Holidays to everyone at Muffin’s Halo, With love always, Sherri and Zsa Zsa

Simcha was 17 when her vision was completely lost. She began having problems the year before, but compensated as the loss was slow. By just over 17, she was blind. Her interest in her two Bichon family members dropped, she didn’t want to go outside unless I was with her and she resorted to sleeping more. I began a search online for “help for blind dogs.” Muffin’s Halo appeared. After reading the story and looking at the pictures, I thought I’d give it a try. I chose the pink halo with angel wings. When it arrived, I let Simcha examine it with her other senses. She appeared interested and kept near it. I placed the Halo on her and after a short evening of trying to figure out what it was, she began to walk around with it. Over the next six months, the Halo gave life back to my girl. She played with her Bichon buddies, went on walks, went outside alone. She played with her toys again. I had my Simcha back. She became an actual angel 3 days after her 18th birthday. Muffin’s Halo allowed her to become alive again. I am blessed to have found this for her. My 16 year old followed her over the Rainbow Bridge 5 weeks later. Their offspring is now 15 and just beginning to have some impairment in his vision. I won’t make him wear Simcha’s pink halo but soon, he will be getting his own. Many thanks to Muffin and his mom for giving my girl a great quality of life with the Halo! Diane and Simcha

Holly was thrown out onto the street by her first owners. When we brought her back to them, they refused to let her in. They just didn’t want her anymore. Their loss and our gain, with that we got to adopt her right then. Holly became our buddy and a part of our family. She loved hiking and everyone she met. As she became elderly, she developed glaucoma, diabetes, and spinal disease but, she never lost her fondness for exploration. We would carry her into the rooms we were currently in at the time; however, she refused to stay seated. It was heartbreaking hearing her thump into walls as she tried to navigate our house. Finding Muffin’s Halo was a Godsend. Thanks to you, she was able to spend the last 18 months of her life exploring with ease and confidence. We appreciate everything you do for our furry friends!

I rescued Betty Boop from the Riverside Shelter in Sept. 2017. She’s 10+ years young, and such a sweetie. After I got her home I realized she was totally blind. I already have another little blind Chi (Angel), that I rescued a couple of years ago, and I got her a Muffins Halo when I first got her. Now she doesn’t even need it, so I put it on Betty, and within a couple of days she was getting around everywhere. It really made a difference for them both, and I am so thankful.
Sincerely,
Shannon Griffiths

My Boston Terrier Jameson has terrible glaucoma that was causing her to go blind quickly. She was injuring herself trying to get around. The muffins Halo was a blessing when I found it – she felt more comfortable and confident every time she has it on and walked around without fear. I love seeing her in her halo wings and everyone else does too!! Thank you from all of us blind dog owners out there!! :)

Bingo is my 12 year old Dachshund/Pekingese mix. On December 21, 2015 I started fostering Bingo for a local rescue. Bingo is a very good sweet old man who is afraid of loud noises. Bingo is quite talkative at meal time. Bingo has been a member of my family for almost 2 years. When I first started to foster Bingo I would take him for walks and just wanted to keep walking, but as is vision started going away he slowed down and only wanted to go for shorter walks. I adopted Bingo on April 30, 2016. Bingo is a part of my family and I love him. Over the last 1 1/2 years Bingo has slowly gone blind. He does good without the Muffins Halo at home and in his yard, the Muffin’s Halo helps him when I need to take him places that are not familiar and it gives him confidence. Since Bingo has got his Muffin’s Halo he is more energetic and plays almost every day with my three 3 year old dogs. I completely recommend the Muffin’s Halo.

My Lacy’s life started a little rough being born in a rescue and then being the runt of a litter of 5 Shih Tzu’s! I was lucky enough to adopt her! She was diagnosed with Vitreoretinal Dysplasia and Retinal Detachment. Lacy will be 5 next year and she had adapted to her surroundings like a pro. The Muffin Halo definitely helped her build confidence and she is living a new normal life with a wagging tail!
Thank you for giving all “Doggy Parents” a sense of relief knowing their pets (kids) can still have a wonderful life even if they have lost their site!

Bert is a 14 year old mix breed with age related loss of sight. He came to our family 4 years ago as a rescue from a rescue group via a local high-kill animal shelter. Bert had been picked up on a rural road well known as being an abandonment spot. Hairless and malnourished, he quickly became a ‘failed foster’ with our family. Three years ago he began developing a gradual loss of sight. After a couple of minor injuries caused by running into household objects, we knew that we had to take action. A post on Facebook informed us about this wonderful invention, Muffin’s Halo For Blind Dogs. This device has been a game changer for Bert being able to safely navigate his house and yard. We appreciate your ingenuity and heart in providing blind dogs with a safe alternative and a second chance at life. Thank you again for this wonderful product! ~ Bonnie Shoemaker

Lucy has received her Halo!! I just wanted to say Thank-you so much as Lucy is already moving around better! She went up the ramp by herself to get on the bed and now she’s just laying here wondering what to do with herself! Ha!! She’s so happy and I am too! I feel so much more secure knowing that she’s going to be safe walking around the house and not lose any more teeth from bumping into furniture. What a blessing!! Prayers to all!! Sincerely~ Cyndee & Lucy Magno

My dog Amber slowly went blind over a period of about two years. As it was so slow, she was able to adjust at first. But the time came when we couldn’t bring her anywhere new as she kept bumping into things. I found Muffin’s Halo online and I sent in photos of Amber and the owner helped me pick the correct size. It fit well and Amber didn’t mind wearing it at all. We mostly used it when we took her somewhere new and it helped a lot. We also used it at home towards the end of her life when she was forgetting where things were. It’s very sad to see your dog bumping their head so this Halo helped both her and us. I would definitely recommend buying a Halo if your dog is blind or going blind. It helps the dogs immensely. Thank you Muffin’s Halo.

Buster was totally blind literally overnight. The halo gave him confidence to walk. If he didn’t have it on, he would just stand still and not move. Now he runs around like he can see. We highly recommend this.
Kim Dewey –
We were so very fortunate when we found Muffin’s Halo – we were provided one for our blind, arthritic small terrier foster dog. The halo was a lifesaver for her! She wore it for the remaining two years she was with us – and did so well with walking throughout the house and in a small section of the yard. It gave her freedom back! <3 I would highly recommend Muffin's Halo's again and again – and with our next blind dog, we'll be back (we frequently foster and adopt special needs pets)!

Snowy my 14 1/2 year old Poodle Mix is blind in both eyes. The Halo has worked well helping her navigate around. I highly recommend this product. It fits well and is comfortable to Snowy. She seems to prefer to have the Halo on and can even play with our younger dog while wearing her angle wings.

I have purchased 3 Muffin’s Halos (White Angel Wings). My 3 1/2 lb Yorkie, Lizzy, had an eye damaged by a professional groomer. Within a month that eye was blind. Six months later her other eye deteriorated. Internet research educated me about Muffin’s Halo. Silvie is a genius! Her creation for her love of her Angel Muffin was God inspired. Our little Yorkie went from disintinterest in life (sleeping all of the time) to a happy, playful 6 year old “puppy”. She passed away a year ago at 11 years old. I bought 2 Muffin’s Halos through her life. I donated the first (in great condition) to my Vet to give to another blind small dog whose parents couldn’t afford one. I don’t know their names and they don’t know ours.
I bought another White Angel Wing Muffin’s Halo (medium ) for my 80 year old friend’s older dog (14 years), Bridget. She also, with a little practice gets.around without bumping into chair legs and walls. Muffin’s Halo is a God send for blind dogs of any age! I highly recommend Muffin’s Halo. Thank you, Silvie!

Before purchasing Muffin’s Halo, our blind dog would bump into walls multiple times a day. It was heart breaking. After wearing the harness for a few hours, she was able to walk around with confidence and navigate well.

Muffin’s Halo really improved our bling dog’s life. It was really important for us to help her deal with her blindness safely. She was so quick to adapt to the Muffin Halo. Thanks to Sylvie and her advices, we picked the right size and it fitted perfectly. The shipment to France was fast and the product perfectly packed. We highly recommend the Muffin’s Halo for every blind dog’s parents that try to improve their companion’s life.

I can’t begin to tell you enough great things about Muffins Halo! My shih Tzu Baxter got advanced glaucoma had to have his eyes removed. It was heart breaking seeing him go blind. This product has given him back his confidence to walk around with no worries that he will run into anything!! I tell everyone at my vets office when they see Baxter wearing his where I got it ! They are amazed as they watch him walk around the vets office with no fear or worry !! I Highly Highly Highly Recommend Muffins Halo to any dog who is having vision issues, especially when they start having them since it is such as easy transition. That is what I did when he starting having the vision problems and it made a smooth process when he went completely blind. It is amazing how smart dogs adjust and this makes their life as happy as before !! THANK YOU MUFFINS HALO !!!!!!! I have one in White and in Blue !!! Thanks for giving VISION WINGS to My BAXTER !!!!!

I bought this for my 15 year-old blind Jack Russell Terrier, Casey Marie. Casey was able to get herself around the house for a long time, as a young dog…but when her age started creeping up, she began to lose her way around the house and we could no longer listen to her banging her beautiful little head Muffin’s Halo was a Godsend! Very sturdy, easy to put on and peace of mind for Casey’s Moms. Unfortunately, Casey crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on April 12th, 2017, but we are forever grateful for the time she had wearing the wings which helped her quality of life towards the end of her life.

I purchased Muffin’s Halo Angel Wings for my 16 year old baby, Coco Latte’. She took to it right away, which was quite a surprise to everyone who knows Coco! The halo acted like a perfect “bumper,” gently helping her navigate around the house with ease. No more bonks to her precious little head!! I really appreciate all the thought and love that is put into these halo’s for blind dogs; the d-ring attached to the harness is a huge plus! Not only can I use it to leash her, but I can secure her into her stroller, and her car seat without having to remove the harness. I was even able to attach her blessed St. Francis medal from Assisi, Italy. When one of the veterinarian’s at the clinic we go to saw Coco’s newfound help via Muffin’s Halo, she called me to inquire about how she could get one for her own pup. She ordered one while on the phone with me! I do not keep the harness and halo on Coco every day. Coco has lost a lot of her muscle mass due to age, and could develop something akin to bed sores if her skin becomes irritated by constant contact. But I can tell you this: after training Coco to move about with her halo on, she has naturally begun to move about more slowly and more cautiously, anticipating a gentle bump from a halo that she is not even wearing! The halo did not hamper Coco from doing any of her routine daily activities. She is able to eat with it on, and sleep with it on with no discomfort or confusion whatsoever. A tip for those who have or are considering getting a Angel Halo for your furbaby: the velcro closures on the harness can get impacted with lint, etc, over time. The best way to deal with this is so simple! Just scrape the area gently with the serrated edge of a scotch tape dispenser! Keeps the velcro clean and like-new. I HIGHLY recommend Muffin’s Halo Angel’s. Money well spent!

When my wife and I were chosen by a blind Cocker Spaniel, we had some apprehension. My friend posted a link to Muffins Halos and we were selected to win one! From the first day that Cocoa had it, he was a changed pup! His favorite thing to so now, besides cuddle his Mommy, is to play fetch! When we put the halo on him, it was like we have him and his confidence back! He wore it to see his ophthalmologist and they were excited to see him with the halo. They had handed out literature for the halo but hadn’t seen a pup actually using one.
I can’t thank Silvia and her team enough! Cocoa’s next adventure is to be certified as a therapy dog!

My 11 year old Jack Russell/Australian Cattle dog mix, Sparky was diagnosed diabetic in 2016 then cataracts stole his vision in 2017. Sparky never let his blindness stop nor slow him down. Being new to a blind dog, I began researching and “eye proofing” my home. I came upon this Muffin’s Halo and was like, I wonder if this would help him, protect his eyes outside and from bumping into his Samme, who became snappy with him after he went blind. A humane society friend of mine let me try one she had for one of her angels, but it was way to small for Sparky. So I went to this site and was blessed to receive such a wonderful device. Sparky would go full speed, but with his Muffin’s Halo, he soon learned boundaries and learned to slow down and not bump his face into everything. His Halo gave him the confidence to live and enjoy the short amount of time I had left with him and made me feel better knowing I was doing all I could to give him quality of life. Thank you Silvie for such an amazing product. We tried using the time we had to educate people and show them what a wonderful product this was. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and now knowing that my angel can see and is wearing his golden halo. I miss and love you Sparky dog!

I wasn’t sure this was going to work for my Chihuahua, but it definitely did. She does really well walking around the house without it, but whenever we take her for walks outside or when we have alot of people over we put her angel wings on. She loves them. She has complete trust that she will be warned before she runs into something. I absolutely love this product and highly recommend it for anyone with a blind doggy.

We were lucky enough to be gifted a Muffin’s Halo for our partially sighted lurcher Scout a few years ago. Even though we are in the UK the Halo was delivered safely and promptly. We were consulted about the possible effectiveness of the Halo as Scout has a little bit of vision in one eye. The Halo fitted him perfectly and he wore it comfortably. The Halo does prevent bumping accidents and helps visually impaired dogs to improve their confidence in being able to move around safely. Scout copes very well with his sight problem even without a Halo and last year we heard of a dog who was struggling to cope following a failed surgical procedure to save his sight. We contacted the dogs owner and offered them Scout’s Halo. Our Halo has improved the life of not one but two rescue dogs.

I cannot believe the confidence that my blind Pekingese walks with. Before he had the halo he would walk with his head down and very careful and took his time. Now he prances around sprints and acts like he owns the yard-which he does. We are surrounded by woods and many times have had tree limbs in our yard -I am glad he has the Halo to protect himself.
Laura (verified owner) –
The little white angel wings halo has been an absolute god send to us in the UK.
This clever invention has given our blind toy poodle the confidence to explore our relatives houses with out hurting herself or the huge worry for us.
I can’t recommend it enough.
I thought at first people would laugh but the last laugh was from us as we keep our fur baby safe and happy.

A friend told me about your halo’s when I told her my Puggle Hooch had gone blind from SARDS – Sudden Onset Retinal Deterioration Syndrome. Five years later, he stills wears the halo but not quite so much. Wearing the halo gives me confidence that his head is safe and he will be with me a lot longer!

When LaceyMarie lost her eyesight, it was very hard to watch her bump her head on corners and even hit her eyes a few times on furniture, brick walls, etc. After I ordered her the Muffins Angel Halo, she was able to navigate more confidently. It was fun to watch her trot with confidence…oh a tree, no problem! LaceyMarie was protected, such a small price to pay for her safe mobility. I am so glad that we were able to provide her those last years with some protection. The only small drawback was it did not fit through the doggie door, but still worth the purchase! Gone but NEVER forgotten my dearest LaceyMarie❣️

Sarah is an 11 year old female West Highland White Terrier. We adopted her and another female, which we lost about five years ago from a mass on her liver. Since then we have smothered Sarah with tons of love. She has just recovered from surgery when she was diagnosed with early stage 1 breast cancer. she lost her sight and some hearing within 1-3 months. One of the ladies at my wonderful veterinarians office told me about the Muffin’s Halo. This is a world I had to learn quickly and realized what a God’s send to learn about this product. Sarah is doing better and learning her way with the assistance of her halo. I can’t say enough about the service. I received this quickly and the quality is perfect. I’m very impressed with the halo and the heartwarming story behind the invention. Thank you for your brilliance and know my little girl, Sarah thanks you too.

Bree was 9 years old when she developed glaucoma in both eyes. She went blind quickly and then after every effort was made to avoid it, she had her eyes removed.
It was a very scary thing for me and I was desperate to find help for her and myself. I found Muffins Halos on line and was so thankful to see this amazing way to help her adjust to her new world. It was easy to order and her halo came quickly. It fits her perfectly and it has helped her build her confidence so much!! We are forever grateful for her beautiful white angel winged halo. Thank you for making a very difficult time so much easier for us.

We’re had a 9 year old English bulldog that went blind in her senior years. She had such a hard time adjusting to losing her sight and ran into everything. We recieved her halo and it was a godsend. She had renewed confidence and soon was parading all over with pride. No more bumps on her head and no more fear! I highly recommend the Muffins Halos for all blind dogs!!
Susan Furnace –
My lab, Shiloh, loved his halo. It allowed him to navigate our back yard with no problems. Unfortunately he passed a few months ago but I passed his halo on to another dog. Bless this site and their work for our fur babies.
Yasmin Hernandez –
I’m so lucky to have found Muffin’s Halo. It gave my dog the confidence and ability to continue his daily routines. The halo allowed my Fur baby to walk around the house safely . What I love most is that it protects my baby from walking into the wall. Thank you for this amazing product.
KBudy –
My yorkie went blind and was walking into everything. She knew where the furniture was, but would rub against everything to guide herself and if she was excited would walk right into furniture. Afraid she was doing more damage to already damaged eyes, I searched for something to help her. Muffin’s Halo fit the bill. It took her a little bit of time to adjust to wearing the halo, but it kept her from walking into or rubbing against furniture, right up to the end. After she died I donated her wings, (yes I had a couple of colors) to her Eye Doctor’s office so they could give them to a family going thru the same thing with their beloved pet.
Natacha –
This has been a life saver. My dog Nanook went blind and starting walking into things, esp on our walks and this has changed her life, no more running into things.
Shane –
Although our dog has passed on, his Muffin’s Halo really made a wonderful difference in helping him get around our house with much more confidence and ease. I wish I had bought it a lot sooner, and recommend them to anyone I meet with a visually impaired dog.
Michelle R Marrison –
This is an awesome product, it so helped my baby when she had her eyes removed. She had run into the walls a few times daily, but after receiving her angel wings she never bumped into anything while wearing it.
Dawn Pettersen –
I foster with my local rescue and once upon a time I had a Blind Shitzu. He was the sweetest boy I felt so bad when he bumped into things. I ordered the Halo for him and I was given a discount since it was for a rescue dog. It really helped the dog build confidence when learning to map out his space.

My little girl, Sissy, was 17 when we received her Halo Wings. It really helped her ‘stay out of trouble’ at times and put my mind at ease. We lost her that same year at 17 yrs 10 mos (will be a year in February) so she didn’t have too much chance to use it. What she had was a blessing though. Her daughter is 14 now so glad I have it as she is slowly losing eyesight- not enough for the Halo Wings yet but we are ready for that day. Thank you so much for this amazing product.

BettyBoo (Jada) is a Hospice rescue from the shelter. She endured a rough 8 years but is now safe and loved for whatever time may remain. Although she is only 8 years old, she has cancer, is deaf and is nearly blind. Thanks to the Halo Wings, BettyBoo is now able to get around the house, yard, go for walks and enjoy the dog park. Muffin’s Halo allows Betty to move about confidently and without injury. When the Halo arrived, it fit perfectly and best of all, it took Betty less than a day to learn. Thank you so much for giving Betty such joy!

I rescued my Bichon Frise, Buddy, from SAFE in St. Augustine, Florida. I was told he was 5 years old, 7 years old, and now my Vet thinks he’s more like 10 years old. His sight wasn’t the best when I got him, but it has definitely gotten worse over the last few months. Buddy was running into everything and it was so sad to watch. My sister found Muffins Halo so I ordered the white one and the red one. Now watching Buddy bump into things, isn’t painful – to watch and for him!! So glad something like this was created. Thank you!

We acquired white angel wings Muffins Halo 6 months ago for our ShihTzu. She was diagnosed with SARDS after she lost her sight over a period of about 2 months. She was very confused and would stand and rock in the middle of the floor, not sure where to go. Our vet suggested Muffin’s Halo and we were happy to give it a try. In less than 24 hours, ZuZu was navigating her way around the house and out in the yard with very little assistance. She continues to do well and sometimes we forget that she cannot see. Her halo has helped restore her quality of life. We are very grateful that this product is so easy and effective. And I love that it can be taken apart and washed in a lingerie bag in a cold water wash! I have recommended it to 2 other veterinarians who were not familiar with it, but have seen how well it works for our dog.

My dog Rocky says he likes his Muffin Halo Angel Wings very much. He thinks they are Ruff-Ragous! Rocky is an avid explorer and his halo guards his lil nose against uninvited bumps and pokes when in new places. Rocky says tanks very much! 4 Paws Up!

My dog, Dobear, has been more mobile and confident since wearing the halo! We love to use it when we take him for walks, and when he is navigating new spaces. It brings us peace of mind to know he has this tool at his disposal! Thanks Muffin’s Halo!

Adopted a 10yr old who already had one eye removed from painful untreated glaucoma. Yep, 3 mos. later her other eye lost sight. She loves her halo & very unsure of herself without it. Gives her freedom & confidence, safety & independence on steps & beloved walks. No fear in this girl…very heartwarming to witness her courage with this remarkable tool for vision lost & protection of her remaining eye from injury.

When our Tibetan Spaniel Shelby suddenly went blind from SARDS, i was devastated. Then I found Sylvie and Muffins Halo. Shelby adjusted quickly and confidently with the help of the halo and wings. The harness fits snugly and comfortably, she walks happily in her Muffins Halo! Thanks, Sylvie.

My sweet Callie was diagnosed with SARDS last summer and we had just moved into a new place. Callie’s Vet suggested that I purchase a Muffin’s Halo to help Callie adjust to being blind in her new environment. The white halo was easy to put on using the detailed instructions that came with the halo and Callie quickly learned her boundaries without getting injured in the process. I recently boarded Callie and brought along her halo and the staff at the kennel were very impressed with her ability to get around with the halo on. Callie and I highly recommend this product !

My puggle Hooch went blind about 5 years ago from SARDS. A friend told me about the halos and I bought one right away. It prevents Hooch from walking into anything. It saves his head from hard or soft smacks. Hooch still gets around well. He is 13 years old so getting him with me and safely is really important so he is seeing longer. I’m really happy to have a pair of safety wings for my angel!!!

We got the halo for a dog in our rescue who had one eye removed and cataracts on the other eye. She adapted to it in a matter of minutes and got around so much better without running into things. Would recommend a Muffin’s Halo to anyone with a dog that has impaired eyesight.

Our dog Karma had a disorder that made her lose her sight rapidly. Since hearing about the halo I ordered one right away and Karma loves it! She is happier and getting back to her old self. She has more freedom since she isn’t bumping into things, and she can roam around the park again which she missed! Thank u so much Muffin’s Halo!

I purchased a muffins Halo for my 18 year old blind Cocker Spaniel. It took her some time to adjust to it. Once she got the hang of it, it not only served its purpose but she would utilize it in new ways. She began pushing the other dogs with a Halo so that she had the room she wanted! She had previously gotten stuck in tight places and run into things frequently. The Halo kept her safe and made it possible for her to roam the house without getting stuck. This product is an amazing invention and well worth the money it costs.

My dog Maggie developed Cushing disease and SARDs which caused her to lose her vision. She was bumping into all of things around the house and I was afraid she would hurt herself, until I bought a halo. It doesn’t bother her at all to wear and gives a loving mom the assurance I need to leave her at home while I go to work. The halo was easy to put together and worked immediately. Maggie and I say thanks!

Our Jack Russell Terrier, Daisy LOVES the freedom muffins halo brings. Truly there’s NO trial period, we just put it on her and she understood automatically, incredible, it opened a whole new world! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

THANK YOU!! Your Muffin’s Halo’s are AMAZING. SO grateful!!

Our 9 year old Dog lost her sight due to SARDS. It happened very quickly and she became very anxious. We got Muffin’s Halo for her and it really built up her confidence. She is now comfortable getting around the house without it, but we bring it with us every time we take her to somebody else’s house. It works great! We are so thankful for this product. It allows us to continue to bring her everywhere with us.

This halo is worth every penney. My little dog likes wearing it and waits by the door to get dressed each morning. He feels obviously more secure, as he realizes that it gives him notice of impending bumps. It is a lifesaver in helping blind dogs feel secure and keeping them from escaping into a corner for protection. These are very well-made and durable. They are nice-looking and invoke questions everywhere, followed by exclamations like, “oh that would be great for …another blind dog.”

These halos are worth every penney. My little dog likes wearing it and waits each morning by the door to get dressed. He obviously feels more secure and realizes that the halo provides notice to him of impending bumps. These are not only lovely, but evoke questions everywhere we go, followed by exclamations like, “Oh! (another blind dog) could use one of these!” These halos are each well-made and durable. They clean nicely. Their value keeping blind dogs from retreating into a corner of safety is infinitely worth their cost. The caring customer care that backs them is also notable.

My diabetic min pin Chico went totally blind over a matter of months. After spending the better part of three weeks under the bed he finally came out to resume his life to the best of his ability. He did amazingly well around the house as long as no furniture was moved. Even outside he did remarkably well on lead. The problem was I had to watch every step he took because he would “blindly “ follow were I went but would take a side step Into something. That is when I discovered the Angle Halo. I put it on him and in a matter of minutes he was confidently prancing around the patio all by himself. Even walks in the park we’re easier because I didn’t have to watch him so intently. When he wanted to nap he would jump on the couch and fall asleep with his angel halo on. I used this for about one year till my boy crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. It was really one of the last things I could do to make his life better. I chose the red one and it looked very stylish on my black dog.

We first purchased the Muffins Halo Angel Wings for our 18 year old Jack Russell, Gimlet. She loved wearing her halo as she could then run around and play without the fear of knocking her head or face when bumping into things. When she passed away at the ripe old age of 21, we donated the angel wings to another blind dog of the same size. The Angel wings withstood the rigours of two active senior dogs and are still in amazing shape. We are now looking for another blind dog who would benefit from these Angel Wings. Thank you so much for inventing such a great helpful tool for blind dogs.

My beloved Miniature Schnauzer Nita went blind, the old, out of date vet didn’t know she had diabetes and dismissed it. For the remainder of her life Muffins Halo made her feel alive, able, and it enabled her to explore her familiar grounds of the large backyard. It was perfect and exact to size by her measurements, hardy, easily washable, and comfortable for her to wear. So important and so worth it. Why would not want your fur baby to to see in their own way?

This is truly a great invention! I’m from Finland and this kind of aids for blind dogs does not exist here. Even my dog’s vet was amazed when he saw this. I’ve tried to spread the word here! Halo helped my dog a lot when he got blind. Sadly, he passed away a while ago.
Katie York –
My mini schnauzer went blind without warning and was later diagnosed with SARDS. Her halo made her so much more confident to spend time outside with her sisters. Thank you so much, Angel.

We bought Muffin’s Halo many years ago when our dog was born blind. He lived to 16 1/2. We used it for many years since the beginning. Best product I’ve ever used and loved it! I highly recommend this product it’s worth the money! Congrats on a great invention after all these years!

we were looking for a device to help our little honey (15 years old poddle). This equipment simply brought joy again. Thanks for the great development and love for the animals. Mel is already a star but Huffins still helps other dogs
Donna Whitener –
My wee man Connor wore his halo for the last two years of his life. It gave him the confidence to resume his normal active life style. Especially at the dog park. I am so thankful to Muffins Halo for designing such a comfortable, functional and adorable product to help dogs who have lost their sight. My boy looked so precious in his halo. I wish it had come with a leash loop then it would have been perfect!

I have used these halos on three blind rescue dogs so far, and they have helped them so much. They have definitely given them a new lease on life. Thank you so much!

I have been involved in rescue work for elderly and medically complex dogs for nearly a decade, and, of course, this has involved a lot of blind dogs. Far more challenging has been the combination of an elderly dog with declines in all sensory systems and cognitive impairment, if not outright dementia. My first demented and blind dog would run full-speed all the time and bang into the walls, injuring herself over and over. Once I had to board her, and given her medical challenges, boarded her with her vet. They called me the first day and asked how I kept her safe because she had bloodied herself inside their pen. They ended up creating what I had for her at home: the equivalent of a child’s play pen lined in egg crate foam. When I got my second demented, blind dog, I had learned about Muffin’s Halo, and did not have to take extraordinary measures to ensure his safety. His dementia left him anxious and pacing, doing a full circle loop around the house for hours on end in the middle of the night (despite melatonin, etc.). Muffin’s Halo protected his face and he could even sleep comfortably in it. I am very appreciative that, under supervision, it allowed me to avoid stressing and isolating him with a small padded pen.

I have been involved in elderly and medically complex dog rescue for nearly a decade. One of the most challenging conditions I’ve worked with is blindness with age-related declines in other senses and cognition, if not outright dementia. My first blind, demented dog had a tendency to run at full-speed wherever she was and would badly injure herself. Once I had to board her, and placed her with her vet because of her medical conditions. The first day she was boarded the vet called me to ask how I keep her safe because she had already bloodied herself on the chain links of her pen. I had to instruct him on how to create what I had at home: a child’s play pen lined in egg crate. By the time I got my second blind, demented dog, I had learned about Muffin’s Halo. This dog was an anxious pacer and sundowner. He wanted to do the full loop through the house over and over late at night (despite melatonin etc.). Demented dogs do not learn the house layout. Muffin’s Halo allowed me to protect his face and he could even sleep comfortably in it. I was very appreciative that, when I could supervise him, I could spare him the stress and isolation of putting him in a pen for his own safety. I tell lots of people about Muffin’s Halo!

Muffin’s Halo has been a life saver for our Bubbles, she lost both her eye’s tragically, which is different from a gradual loss, per our vet. There was no adjustment period just instantly lights out forever. She is only 3 years old and 5 pounds. She was depressed, lost her loving and playful attitude of loving life. We were afraid we were going to lose her. We are so blessed that and Angel on here ( now Bubbles God Mother Lorraine) donated to get her the Red Halo, Then she rcvd her 2nd one from Second chances for blind dogs. Now she has another one to wear while the other is being washed, well let me tell you it made all the difference in the world, we have our baby back, playful, running around the house, living and loving life again, shes back to her old self , now she bumps us in the back of the legs when we are not moving fast enough for her to get in our Big bed at night to say our prayers , sleep comfortably with her humans and and take up the whole bed. just seeing thru the Halo instead of her eyes. Silvie, thank you for being an Angel to all these fur babies, God Bless you.

I have been blessed not once but twice with these wonderful angel wings. Bump came to us blind and he can now walk with such confidence and bravery. Stewie recently became blind due to previous trama and while it took him a little to get use to he now loves his Halo. I think him keeping the other dogs away from his space is what really makes him happy. He does not have to worry about walking into a grumpy friends space. He is constantly walking into things but no longer hurting his eyes or his pushed in nose!!
Alexa La Marca –
My puppy Loki started going blind at 6 months old. He struggled with new surroundings like visiting family or going to the stores. With his Muffins halo he can get around easier and he is so much happier.

Izzy was born blind and has changed homes several times in her short life (she is now just 1 year old). When I adopted Izzy and brought her into my home, it took some time to adjust and I always felt really bad when she bumped into things. I ordered a halo for her because while she had figured out my home, I was getting ready to move again. I didn’t want her to have to bump into things in the new home. The halo has been a god send. Izzy feels safe and is calmer when she is wearing it. She wore it for the first week in our new home until she learned the layout and if we go anywhere new, she wears the halo and if boosts her confidence. I am so grateful that we have this tool to support her.

The Muffin’s Halo was a lifesaver for my senior yorkipoo Matti. Beautiful product carrying on the legacy of Angel Muffin who waits at the Rainbow Bridge to be reunited with human mom one day ♥️

Our sweet dog developed SARDS and within a month, complete blindness. There is no cure; just to love and comfort her. Muffin’s Halo is a Godsend! It’s her walking cane. It protects her face when she turns quickly into a wall or things around house. Our little Mia Wags her tail when I put it on every morning. Love it!

My seventeen year old American Eskimo girl loves her Halo! She became blind after having her remaining eye removed three months ago, after a traumatic accident. She was initially afraid to move around but once she got her Halo on, all her confidence returned. Interestingly, after a month IN the Halo. she no longer needs it: it completely restored her confidence and she now navigates successfully on her own without it. Rather amazing product. Highly recommended.
Karen Howell (verified owner) –
This is very well made and helped our dog learn to safely navigate. I do believe the body of the halo made him feel secure similar to his Thundershirt. It was expensive, but there are helpful coupons and the build quality is exceptional.

My sweet pug went blind in the last year of his life. Thanks to this Muffin’s Halo he was able to have freedom and dignity. It was such a lifesaver for he and I both. His vet was very pleased as well at how much my pug’s spirits were lifted. I highly recommend any of the Muffin’s Halos!
Bonnie Roper –
My little Morkie Bella had the white Angel Wings. It was amazing watching her walking around knowing that she was no longer afraid . She would run and hit her face on the door frames in the house and it would hurt her so badly. This HALO was the most amazing saving grace for my baby. Unfortunately she passed away not long after she got used to it. I have it tucked away because I can’t bring myself to give it up. It was such a special gift and it reminds me that there are still amazing people who are Angels on earth. That people are good and are willing to help. This is an amazing organization with enormous hearts. Thank you for what you do…

I love this product! I order one for any of my blind foster dogs (I’ve had a few!) ranging from 6 lbs to 50 lbs and this gives them so much confidence as they learn the layout. It also gives me peace of mind that their little face is protected. It is easy to assemble, easy to clean, easy to take on/off and the dogs love it! Will definitely continue to buy!

Amazing product. Bought it in 2017 when my little Lhasa Apso, age 17, was losing her sight. After some time adjusting to it, she was fine, it also saved me from stressing over her doing damage to her eyes or face due to bushes or other objects outside that she could run into. Sadly, we lost her just before her 18th birthday. Now, it’s being passed to her daughter, a 16 year old Lhasa, losing her sight. She’s not quite ready for it but will be soon. I’m so thankful I have it for her now. Will always have one available for our future fur babies. A must have!!

I now have two of the white halos. One was for my yorkie poo that developed canine cognitive dysfunction and constantly turned circles. He would hit anything because he couldn’t control himself to not turn circles. The halo was perfect to protect his little head. I didn’t have to worry as much about him hitting things and getting hurt with it on.
The second one I purchased was for my chiweenie who was born without eyes. When he was a baby and learning the house, I would put the halo on him to protect his head. We still use it when we go to new places that he doesn’t know the layout.
The quality of the halos is superior. They have held up well and I’ve never had a problem with the velcro coming undone. I love them and recommend them to everyone who asks me what I’ve done. I immediately recommend the halo and will continue to do so because I know it works and the quality is unbeatable.

I love the fact that my little guy does not bump into anything anymore. Sometimes he hit his head so hard that it made me cringe! Now, I don’t have to worry. It was an amazing transition really, and super simple! What a great invention. I highly recommend this to all vision-impaired furbabies!

We got this for our blind 12 year old dog. It protects him from bumping into anything. It is very easy to put the harness on and easy to take it off. I would highly recommend this if you have a blind dog.
LD McKenzie –
Godsend. Our senior rescue dog lost her vision over Christmas holidays 2020 due to SARDS. A Halo harness was recommended by the animal eye clinic, but no specific model. When i looked online, none seemed a good fit for her. Our girl also has Cushings and arthritis. None seemed like they wouldn’t poke into her if she were to lie down, which is her most comfortable position.
Our rescue organization, Elderdog Canada, recommended Muffins Halo. When i watched the sizing video, i knew this was the gold standard. Strong velcro for the halo section means there are no hard bits on the harness. The ‘backboard’ is very solidly made and transfers the mechanical pressure of the harness down thru the forelegs vs neck. Our black lab/shepherd cross can really feel the heat and has wriggled out of her other harness during heat waves. But Muffin’s white body harness is light weight & comfortable for her.
Our vet recommended goggles to prevent eye pokes. Which is a good idea. But she was getting a lot of nose sores from banging into walls and chairs. So in an unknown setting where she won’t get branches poked into her eyes, i think Muffins Halo is its own indispensible tool for her. I take her for slow short walks on an adult trike. The Halo is perfect for keeping her snout out of the spokes. I’m sol glad we have this for her.

When my 11-year-old pug Jackson suddenly went blind he was frantic. Upon receiving his muffins Halo is confidence with instantly boosted. The Halo alerted him and kept him from bumping into furniture, people, walls. Slowly but surely his confidence gained to where he was back to his happy pug self. We are so grateful to have had such an amazing help for our dog. Thank you so much for everything you do for all the blind dogs!

It’s so difficult to watch your beloved 4-legged kid to lose his/her eyesight. Our boy Duke started losing his eyesight at 16 and eventually started bumping into things. We got him a Muffin’s Halo and it worked like a charm, keeping him from hitting his noggin on things. Thank you Muffin’s Halo!
Molly Walsh (verified owner) –
I purchased The Halo for my 14 yr old peek a poo after he became blind and it was so painful to see him running into everything and hitting his head. The Halo is a “must have” for any fur baby in that situation. I feel like I gave him his dignity back and eliminated the pain he must have felt every time he bumped his head . So grateful I discovered this product.

Our 4 1/2 year old Shih tzu was recovering from knee surgery and went blind 2 weeks later. After visits with our vet, and then opthalmologist for dogs, she went blind from SARDS. The Halo has kept her from running into objects, and that further protects her eyes!
Cassandra VanderSloot –
Our boy Meatball loves his halo. We have had a couple over the years and it has been a game changer. It fits well and protects his noggin from bumping things. Before the halo, he had some bad crashes and even a concussion. It has completely changed his quality of life. We are so thankful!

Out baby Bella, went blind very suddenly. The halo helped with Bellas confidence and determination to forever be the little happy pup she has always been. Cannot thank muffins halo enough.

My River Song became blind suddenly at 6 years old. She became very timid and I could tell she was afraid. She kept bumping into walls, furniture and the backyard fence. When she got her Muffin’s Halo, you could just see the confidence return to her. No longer did she smack her nose into the walls and furniture. She learned quickly where the fence is and she no longer needs to wear her halo in the backyard. She always wears it when we go out, though, not only so she feels confident but also so people know she’s blind and give her a bit more space. I am so thankful to Muffin’s Halo and Second Chances For Blind Dogs for giving my River Song back her world. Plus, she looks really cute in her Angel Wings!
Laura Mills –
This was a lifesaver for my sweet pug. He suddenly lost his sight and the Halo allowed him to continue having the best quality of life possible. I am convinced it extended his lifespan, not only in quantity but also in quality.

This halo was key in helping my beagle adapt when she suddenly went blind from glaucoma and had both eyes removed. It helped her regain her confidence as she learned to navigate our home and yard without her sight. A GODSEND!

I’m very blessed that this item was invented! It has helped my pup navigate now that she has started bumping into things. It’s very sturdy and durable. I would recommend this product to anyone that has a pup that needs help navigating or has trouble seeing.

We adopted our Angela at the animal shelter about 2 years ago. She had been brought in as a stray, and it was obvious that she had just had puppies. The people at the shelter spayed her, removed a tumor on her side, and removed both eyes due to advanced disease. They estimated her age to be 7 years old. When we first laid eyes on her at the shelter, she was all wrapped up in a blanket with only her front paws sticking out. We softly called to her until she started flipping the blanket off, and we saw her beautiful little face. She’s a miniature pincher. We fell in love right away, and it’s been wonderful ever since. We found out about Muffin’s Halos, and now Angela has a white one and a pink one. She knows that when she has a halo on, she can trot through the house much faster and not hurt her precious head. It’s almost like she’s playing a game and trying to bump into everyone and everything because she knows she won’t get hurt! The halos are a must for blind dogs. She loves wearing them.

THANK YOU for the generosity of giving my newly blind dog, Seven, his new way of getting around and gaining his independence again! He is getting used to the new Muffins Halo and everyday is better than the one before! He might not be as active as he was before but his confidence is coming back as he moves around the house. I was so sad when all this happened out of the blue, but Seven adjusted and has made life happy again. We appreciate your company giving our fur kid a new chance at life! ????

My Wishbone lost the sight in both of his eyes overnight (SARDS). He went from being an extremely active outdoor dog to cowering in the house. With his Muffin’s Halo he is back outside and walking trails again! It did not take him long at all to realize this new harness was keeping him safe and he became bolder and bolder and bolder. I am so happy that my sweet boy is enjoying life again. ????????????

I cannot speak highly enough about Muffin’s Halo.
Our little Maltese, Ollie, went blind suddenly at 8 years of age. We were devastated when he was diagnosed with Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Syndrome (SARDS).
We learnt of Muffin’s Halo’s from a Facebook Support Group and the relief that knowing there was a product out their to help our wee boy, was indescribable.
Ollie adapted to the halo the instant we put it on him and within seconds, it had already saved his little head from the wall!
In unfamiliar environments it is an absolute life saver – we wouldn’t be without it.
We used the size guide and found it to be extremely accurate. The halo fits him like a glove.
Our huge thanks to Sylvie and all those involved in Muffin’s Halo – what a wonderful product and service you provide ????
Cindy Preston –
Thank you so much for this wonderful and loving product! My Molly has been dealing with Glaucoma the past 4 years and totally blind since the beginning of the year. She has good days and confused days. This Halo is wonderful when she is having one of her confused days as she will just pace and run into things constantly which makes Mommy nervous she is going to hurt herself. It is also wonderful if we are somewhere new to her it really helps with the bumping into things. So happy with Muffin’s Halo :)
